Education and Experience

• Reading and writing in English

• Basic math skills

Qualifications 

• Ability to read, write and understand all paperwork and customer labels

• Able to verbally communicate with team, team leaders and managers effectively, speaking English is a PLUS!

• Able to complete an I-9, providing required identification documents

• Able to provide bank account number and routing number for direct deposit

• Uphold a level of flexibility in work assignments and work schedule

• Able to write down all activities during the day

• Flexibility to work until all customers on the production board are completed

• Able to work well with other team members

• Dedication to working safely in your department and ensuring other team members also maintain safe working protocols

• Diplomatic approach to resolving issues with team members or management

• Capable of performing in a positive, professional manner with all team members, including management

• Ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds

• Ability to push or pull carts weighing up to 500 pounds

• Capable of following directions with ease

Equipment, Machines and Software Used

• Computer: basic understanding, and operation of necessary

• Laundry tracking system: Able to learn & operate our inhouse system

Physical and Mental Requirements

• While performing the duties of this job, the Production Worker is required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; taste or smell and to perform repetitive motions throughout the day

• Must regularly lift or carry up to 50 pounds and push or pull up to 500 pounds.

• Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

• Able to work in plant setting and be exposed to current weather conditions. Laundry machinery produces excess heat and can lead to extreme heat exposure during summer months.

• Can work around lint, dirt and dust in the plant and a moderate noise level.
