Delivery Driver

Position Title:                         Delivery Driver

Position Schedule:                 Sun (2pm – 5pm), Tue – Fri (6am – finish)

Reports To:                             General Manager

Salary:                                     Hourly rate [$17 - $19] depending on experience

Job Summary:

  • Perform timely and efficient pickups and deliveries to customers

  • Verify the daily delivery schedule

  • Load all outgoing linens in the morning

  • Run daily route delivering clean linen while picking up dirty linen  

  • Unload all dirty linens from the truck once back at the plant

  • Tag each cart with customer tag

  • Weigh cart in

  • Park truck in designated parking area

  • Clean out cab & box of truck daily

  • Wash truck weekly

  • Fuel up truck daily

  • Complete pre-trip inspections daily

  • Add DEF fluid, when / if needed

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Punctual

  • Reliable

  • Well-groomed appearance

  • Wear company issued uniforms

  • Maintain personal cell phone with internet capabilities

  • Flexibility in work assignments and work schedule

  • Proficient in English language

  • Valid state issued Class (D) Chauffer’s driver license

  • Satisfactory MVR as required by insurance

  • Ability to pass DOT physical & drug test

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull 50 - 700 pounds

  • Capable of following driving directions with ease

  • Attention to detail

  • Must be able to operate a liftgate

  • Must be able to operate a hand pump to retrieve Def fluid from a 55gal container
